Dr. Youssef Tahiri

Dr. Youssef Tahiri is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a subspecialty in Craniofacial Surgery. After graduating from McGill Medical School, in Montreal, Canada, he completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at McGill University and certified by the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery. During his residency, he pursued a Masters Degree in Experimental Surgery, which he obtained with Honors.
Following his training at McGill, Dr. Tahiri completed a Pediatric and Adult Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and at the University of Pennsylvania. 
After completing his Craniofacial Surgery training, Dr. Tahiri joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children. 
After spending a couple of years at Indiana University and specifically Riley Hospital for Children, Dr. Tahiri moved to Los Angeles to join Dr. Reinisch at Cedars Sinai Medical Center to partner and continue his practice of Microtia reconstruction and pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery. Dr. Youssef Tahiri has published a very large number of peer-review articles and presented his work at numerous regional, national and international scientific meetings. Dr. Tahiri is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has received acclaim for his expertise in craniofacial procedures and has attracted many North American and International patients. Microtia Coordinator/Physician Assistant

Mitzi is the Microtia Coordinator for Dr. Reinisch. She can answer any questions regarding microtia reconstruction. She will be assisting in your child’s surgery and will be following up with you during your postoperative visits.

Francheska is the Appointments Coordinator for Dr. Reinisch. She will be coordinating your child’s consultation and postoperative visits (for U.S.-based patients). She has served as a patient services representative since 2007.

Surgical Coordinator

As the Surgical Coordinator for Dr. Reinisch, Mechauna will assist you in booking your child’s surgery. She will keep you informed about the surgical process and can answer questions about the details of surgery. She enjoys working with children from all over the world and meeting their families.
